Virgil Abloh's Air Jordans Unveiled in Detailed New Look Next Month

Virgil Abloh's coveted Off-White x NikeCollaborations are set to return next month, but they will appear somewhat different from the co-branded designs fans have previously experienced.

The collaborationHis return will start with an Air Jordan shoe that was once one of the most scarce.Off-Whitex Nike products. Now rebranded as theVirgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan1 High, the new style features a White/White color scheme on Abloh's deconstructed design. Before its official release, the resale platform GOAT has revealed the detailed appearance of the sneaker.

The same color scheme was first introduced in early 2018 as a European-only release, which made it the only Off-White x Air Jordan 1 that wasn't available worldwide. Similar to Abloh's other takes on theAir Jordan 1, the White/White style - which has been nicknamed "Alaska" for the upcoming reissue - features a reverse construction that reveals the model's internal parts and creates an appearance that is more artistic than a typical performance sneaker.

All the signature elements from Abloh are present on this pair, such as zig-zag stitching, colorful blue and orange thread detailing, prominent "AIR" text on the midsole, and visible foam padding. The difference from earlier versions lies in the medial branding: whereas the previous version had "Off-White for Nike," the new iteration features "V.A.A. for Nike," which stands for Virgil Abloh Archive.

In October 2024, LVMH divested Off-White to Bluestar Alliance, although the late Abloh's estate had previously separated from his former label. "Virgil Abloh Securities and Shannon Abloh formally ended their association with Off-White in 2022 and are no longer connected to the brand," stated the estate in a 2024 announcement.

The Virgil Abloh Archive is an extensive private collection containing over 20,000 items from the late designer's professional life. Its branding will be utilized for upcoming Nike projects.collaborations, many more are set to be released during 2026.

The Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 Retro High Alaska is anticipated to be available in limited numbers on March 28, priced at $230. The style code for the White/White version is AA3834-100..
