Vince McMahon's Dashcam Captures 100-MPH Speed Before Bentley Crash

A dashcam video released by the police this week shows Vince McMahon driving at speeds over 100 mph through traffic before his Bentley crashes into another car.
The former WWE chief executive was charged with reckless driving and aggressive following after the event on the Merritt Parkway inWestport, C.T.last July, as reported by state police. While no one was hurt in the accident, McMahon's $323,000 vehicle and two additional cars were damaged.

Smoke can then be observed rising from McMahon's vehicle as it keeps moving along the highway before finally stopping. A Connecticut State Trooper comes up to McMahon's car and asks him about his high speed, and the 80-year-old businessman explains that he was heading to see his granddaughter for her birthday, according to reports.the Mirror US.
I'm trying to catch up to you, but you keep speeding off. I think you were going almost 115 miles per hour," the officer said. McMahon, seen in the driver's seat with the airbags inflated, told the trooper, "I'm trying to drive. I haven't driven my car in God knows how long.
He then refers to himself as a "stupid f-----g fool" while giving the officer his insurance and registration papers, and adds that he hasn't driven his car—which is "too fast"—in "a long while."
After declining medical treatment, McMahon asks if anyone was injured and says, "oh no, that's a miracle," when the officer confirms no one was harmed.
Photos taken by Barbara Doran, one of the people involved in the accident, showed substantial front-end damage to McMahon's car as it was being placed on a tow truck in Westport. The images also showed damage to the back of Doran's BMW 430.
As per the police report, McMahon was driving north on the parkway, known as Route 15, when he rear-ended a BMW and crashed into a wooden barrier. A car in the southbound lanes was struck by debris that flew over the barrier, according to state police.
No vehicles had any occupants, and all three drivers were seen wearing their seat belts, as confirmed by the police. Air bags in McMahon's car activated, according to the police report.
Doran mentioned that the air bags in her BMW failed to activate.
Doran, a New York CityThe resident stated she was driving in the correct lane when McMahon collided with her vehicle. She mentioned that the force of the crash caused her car to leave the road.
"I was driving in the right lane when all of a sudden, boom. I got hit from behind and was thrown forward, and you can see the skid marks showing how hard I was trying to stay on the road," she said. The woman mentioned that a state trooper told her the other driver involved was McMahon, someone she didn't know well.
After the accident, she and McMahon spoke. "He just, you know, showed worry, happy that I was okay and things like that. And I appreciated his concern," the 72-year-old woman remembered.
In 2022, McMahon stepped down from his role as WWE's CEO amid a company investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct. He also left his position as executive chairman on the board of TKO Group Holdings, WWE's parent company, last year—only one day after a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse.
McMahon has refuted the claims. The legal proceedings are still in progress.
