Tubi Expands with Hundreds of New Cartoons

(NewsNation) — With HBO MaxTubi is taking action by removing cartoon programs from its extensive streaming collection.

In a poston Twitter, the streaming platform revealed its purchase of hundreds of cartoons set to arrive on the service, stating, "My cartoon era begins March 1."

Most of the cast consists of older individualsCartoon Networkshows, but Warner Bros. cartoons like "Animaniacs" will also be included.

The decision follows the expiration of Cartoon Network's licensing deal with HBO Max, leading to the removal of almost all cartoons from the service.Deadline reported.

Following Tubi's purchase of Looney Tunes, the head of acquisitions described it as a "major success for us" after it became the platform's top-rated series.
