Fans Rant Over Shocking Super Bowl Food Prices – 'Trash' Options Spur Outrage

One thing to say about the Super Bowl is that it definitely comes with a high price tag if you're looking to attend in person.
Every football supporter hopes to witness their team vie for the Vince Lombardi trophy, yet it is reasonable to say that not all football fans have the financial means to turn that aspiration into reality, even if their team reaches the pinnacle of the NFL season.
Tickets for this year's Super Bowl, which features the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks, are reported to have sold for anywhere from $4,000 to $6,000 (with some reaching significantly higher prices). Meanwhile, reports from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, indicate that attendees have faced considerable costs when it comes to food and beverages.
It is being reported that one of the menu items carries a staggering price of $180, excluding any beverages.
You're correct, the so-called LX Hammer Burger, a cheeseburger featuring braised bone-in beef shank, roasted mirepoix demi-glace, and Point Reyes bleu cheese fondue on a baked brioche bun, is priced just under $200. Interestingly, only 200 of them are being produced.
In other areas, there have been online complaints about the high prices of drinks for today's game. It is said that those fortunate enough to be inside the stadium are paying $17.50 for a can of lager or a Bud Light Seltzer, and $19 if they prefer premium canned beer.
Canned wine costs $16 each, while water is $8.
A single mixed drink costs $19, while a double is priced at $32. The Halftime Show Magarita is available for $23 as a single and $36 as a double.
“Absolutely criminal,” one X user wrote. The majority of soccer supporters cannot afford this.
“8 DOLLARS FOR WATER!?” wrote another. Damn that, I'd rather drink the water from the toilet.
“If I were a millionaire, I wouldn't pay those amounts.,” claimed a third.
"Didn't see anything better than a hot dog. The food choices here are terrible," said another fan, as perreports.
In the meantime, a basic stadium hot dog is costing the crowd $20. For $35, they can get the Gilroy Garlic Steak Frites, which includes a California hanger steak accompanied by a ruch au poivre sauce, fried Gilroy garlic, and pink peppercorns.
