Wigan Primary School Unveils £15M State-of-the-Art Home

Galliford Try, the main builder involved in the downtown area Galleries/Fettlers The project has been assigned to construct the new £15.6 million RL Hughes Primary School in Ashton, representing yet another significant achievement under the Department for Education’s (DfE) S21 Framework.
The upcoming structure will offer seating for 420 students and include a one-story facility covering 2,250 square meters, situated on the current school grounds.

Construction is set to start in February and will last approximately one year to complete the new school. After completion and once students relocate, the existing facilities will be demolished to compensate for the area taken by the new structures.
