A sport utility vehicle overturned in an accident with several cars early Monday morning, leading to congestion on Interstate 35 in Oklahoma City.

A number of cars were part of an accident on the northbound lanes of I-35 above the Oklahoma River, located just south of Interstate 40. One of the vehicles ended up flipped onto its front end, prompting several tow trucks to arrive at the location.

The accident closed two of the left lanes heading north on I-35, leading to congestion as vehicles cautiously passed the area. A paramedic unit from EMSA arrived at the location, although officials mentioned that no significant injuries were recorded.
