Soundgarden Comments on Missing Ozzy and Black Sabbath's Final Show

Soundgarden has released a statement that functions as an acknowledgment of honor and admiration for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath and also offers an account for their lack of presence at the Back to the Beginning concert.

Earlier this month, in May, it was recommended by Sharon Osbourne in an interview given to The Guardian that the current members of Soundgarden were added to the lineup alongside Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler However, when Tyler was present, the members of Soundgarden were not.

What occurred? It seemed to be an arrangement issue because the group mentions in their latest post the ensemble states in their most recent update the musicians mention in their new announcement the team points out in their latest message the collective shares in their recent social media update We're really disappointed and sorry that we couldn't align our personal and group project schedules to be part of the festival.

However, their absence didn't prevent the band from acknowledging Ozzy and Sabbath's impact on music. The post they shared on Instagram is shown below:

Thanks for an incredible career that gave us and your huge group of fans a lifetime filled with elegance, fear, affection, strength, joy, sadness, and a deeply magnificent, yet intensely powerful spiritual experience shaped by both despair and optimism. Your outstanding talent has motivated numerous other groups, artists, and lyricists to achieve excellence. Still, the title will always belong to you!

We sincerely appreciate Tony, Ozzy, Geezer, and Bill, along with Sharon Osbourne and musical director Tom Morello, for the privilege and opportunity to have Soundgarden perform at the Back to the Beginning festival! We're truly disappointed and sorry that we couldn't align the timelines of our personal and group endeavors to be part of the event. The kindness, affection, and backing provided by the Black Sabbath crew have consistently served as an inspiration and motivation during our entire professional journey.

Inquiries regarding the future of Soundgarden have grown more frequent over the past week following the drummer's situation. Matt Cameron announced his departure from Pearl Jam following 27 years with the band. Cameron was prominently involved with both Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, as well as their collaborative project, Temple of the Dog.

Who else longs for the start again?

Another group connected to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath that fans questioned about their absence was Motley Crüe.
