Drake Sparks New Feud with Kendrick Lamar After Bold Response to Wireless Chant

It looks as though Drake hasn't completely let go of his rivalry with another rapper hasn't entirely put aside his conflict with a fellow rapper isn't fully over his feud with another hip-hop artist hasn't fully gotten past his dispute with a colleague in rap hasn't completely resolved his ongoing issue with a rival rapper Kendrick Lamar .

During the weekend, Drake apparently intensified his rivalry with the Swimming Pools artist by reacting to a fan cheer while performing at the Wireless Festival in London. Their ongoing conflict has been going on for more than ten years and shows no signs of decreasing soon.

At a certain moment in his show, Drake posed a question to the crowd, asking if anyone could think of another musician capable of "setting the mood," before adding, "I'm here for you all tonight." The audience then started to repeat shout "f--k Kendrick" as the Hotline Bling artist appeared smiling at himself on the large screen.

A 38-year-old then took out his earpiece and asked someone backstage, "Hey Chuggs, get me a drink. I'll have a toast to that," causing the audience at the concert to become extremely excited.

A clip capturing the event has circulated widely across social media, generating a range of responses from followers of both Drake and Kendrick.

A user stated, "Drake is still fixated on Kendrick? Wow, that guy truly ruined Drake's career," while another commented, "Kendrick remains in his thoughts."

A different user shared an image of Kendrick's Super Bowl appearance in February, where he performed his contentious song "Not Like Us," directed at Drake, and wrote, "He’s never going to bounce back from this moment I believe…"

In the meantime, another person remarked, "Drake has every right to still be holding onto this. He hasn't moved past the embarrassment," while a fifth individual added, "I'm still affected by it."

Nevertheless, a supporter stated, "He performed stronger against Kendrick than others acknowledge. He didn't win, but not by as much as people claim."

Following his third concert, Drake went to Instagram to express gratitude to his fans for their response. "Thank you London. I need some time to reflect on everything that just occurred so I won't be able to write my typical post... just thank you very much for the best three nights of my professional performances," he shared with a monochrome photo of himself on stage.

It followed a multi-year conflict between Kendrick and Drake, involving numerous mutual diss tracks and even a defamation lawsuit.

Drake's attorneys have initiated a defamation lawsuit against his record company, Universal Music Group, over the release of "Not Like Us." Although he did not specifically mention Kendrick in the legal action, the complaint states that the assertions made in the track are unfounded and detrimental to his professional reputation.

The record company Universal, with whom Drake has been associated for more than 10 years, stated: "These allegations are false, and the idea that we would attempt to damage the image of an artist—especially Drake—is unreasonable."
