Naomi Claims Women's World Title with Money in the Bank Win at Evolution

Whenever Rhea Ripley was part of a match featuring Iyo Sky, WWE promoted the narrative that she had never beaten her. At tonight's (Sunday, July 13, 2025) Evolution 2 A premium live show held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, gave her another opportunity in the main event, where the women's world title was up for grabs.
Sky made this choice, just like Tiffany Stratton selected Trish Stratus, for the purpose of proving she can beat the top competitors and strengthen her dominance.
They put on an incredible match, undoubtedly the highlight of the event in the most significant moment. Toward the end of the bout, they executed a referee bump, with Ripley landing the Riptide for a dramatic pinfall immediately afterward.
It definitely seemed as though they were about to repeat their actions, granting Sky another win against Rhea. In response, she battled her way through the audience with Sky, ultimately reaching the climax of the match—a massive crossbody maneuver launched from possibly 15 feet up.
They finally returned to the ring, where Sky delivered a powerbomb to Ripley off the apron onto the floor. She then executed the Over the Moon Salto, and the referee came back, but she managed to count only up to two before Ripley kicked out! The expressions on everyone's faces were filled with surprise and admiration.
Then Ripley encountered a large Spanish Fly.
Both of them flew off the shelves.
Then came Naomi's music.
She rushed down, turned it into a three-way showdown by using the Money in the Bank contract, and delivered her finishing move to pin Sky, earning herself the new women's world championship.
Wow.
