J-Hope Lights Up Lollapalooza Berlin

BTS member-music fest

SEOUL, July 14 (Yonhap) -- J-Hope, a top figure in K-pop from BTS, lit up the stage during Lollapalooza Berlin, one of Europe's biggest music events, receiving enthusiastic reactions from an audience of 60,000, according to his management company on Monday.

J-Hope made a comeback to the Lollapalooza stage after three years, coming off his solo appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago in 2022.

Headlining the main stage at Berlin's Olympiastadion on Sunday (local time), the last day of the festival, J-Hope performed a high-energy 90-minute show.

As the huge crowd shouted his name, the South Korean rapper appeared on an elevator, starting the performance with "What if..." and "Pandora's Box."

J-Hope maintained the energy, prompting the audience with: "Are you prepared to lose your mind tonight? Let's do this!"

His performance featured 21 songs, which included individual numbers such as "on the street" and the latest track "Killin' It Girl," along with the BTS popular song "MIC Drop."

As his performance came to an end, J-Hope thanked his worldwide fans. "This year has been deeply significant for me," he remarked. "I appreciate so much as I've traveled across the globe. Thanks for joining me on this remarkable adventure, and I love you all."
