On the July 13th installment of KBS2's Crazy Rich Koreans, Audiences were given a glimpse into Hwasa's life. The program accompanied her to Boston on the 20th day of her North American tour.

On that particular day, Hwasa appeared notably quiet. She was dealing with a painful throat and obviously not at her usual level. "That was the most challenging day of the tour," she confessed. "Honestly, I thought I was coming down with something and was truly concerned about having enough strength and endurance to make it through the performance."

Another panel member, Park Se Ri, added, "You're close to finishing the tour, so you must be tired." Hwasa nodded, saying, "Plus, New York was extremely cold."

Despite feeling unwell, Hwasa pushed forward. She arrived at the venue and saved her voice, quietly greeting the staff before rehearsals. Her voice was noticeably hoarse, and she was too nervous to eat afterward.

In addition, an old ankle injury began causing problems once more, so she needed to bandage it before the performance. Upon seeing this, host Jeon Hyun Moo questioned Park Se Ri, "Have you ever played with an injury like that?"

Park, an iconic sports figure, responded, "Many athletes do. You simply push forward. You wrap it up, convince yourself it's okay, and continue moving because you must—this is what makes it so challenging," expressing her respect for Hwasa's determination.

Hwasa is recognized for her powerful dance moves and doesn't hold anything back during practice sessions. Jeon Hyun Moo said, "It looks like you should steer clear of these tough performances when injured." Hwasa responded, "But it's the same for the dancers. We're all facing this as one."

Despite the challenges, the Boston location was filled with enthusiastic supporters. When questioned about which city was the most vocal, Hwasa responded, "Seattle and Los Angeles were incredible."

She also shared details about another significant health issue: her hearing. "The audience was extremely noisy, so I had to set my in-ear monitor all the way up, yet I still couldn't hear myself. When you increase it that much, you risk developing tinnitus or potentially harming your eardrum. I had it turned so high that the monitor ended up failing."

YouTube personality Kwak Tube questioned, "Wow, didn't that hurt your ear?" Hwasa responded, "Yes, I can't hear much through this ear anymore," indicating her left one.

Jeon Hyun Moo was stunned and questioned, "From that single performance?"

Hwasa said, "No, it wasn't only due to that. My eardrum has been fragile for some time now because I've always needed to keep the volume very high. I also experience constant tinnitus."

Her honest admission amazed the judges with her commitment to performance, regardless of the personal sacrifice involved.
