Temple Police Identify Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The Temple Police Department determined the identity of the victim of theFeb. 20 crash as Saul Lobo from Killeen, Texas.

Lobo, 27, was declared deceased on-site by officials.

What happened?

Temple Police stated that officers responded to the intersection of S. General Bruce Drive and Charter Oak Drive due to a motorcycle collision approximately at 6:12 p.m.

Police stated that an initial investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling south on the access road heading toward the entrance to I-35 when they "swerved right," struck a curb, and ended up in the traffic lane.

The police stated that the driver passed away at the location. No additional injuries have been reported so far.
