NM 88 Closed for Railroad Crossing Repairs

PORTALES, N.M. (KFDA) - The BNSF Railway will fix a railway crossing on NM 88 (Avenue B) starting Monday, February 23, and continuing through Wednesday, February 25, near milepost 0.

Route 88 will experience closure from Fir Street to Commercial Street throughout the three-day initiative. Alternate routes will be indicated, and motorists are advised to expect traffic delays.

Drivers are advised to exercise care, follow traffic signs, and slow down.
