Months later, according to The Blast, Hilary sang tracks from her album, including one called "We Don't Talk."

The song incorporates a sample from Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know," with lyrics that fans quickly associated with her relationship with Haylie.

Unsure of when it took place / Not entirely clear what it was all about," Hilary performed during a recent show at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. "Because we're from the same home, same blood.

She continued, "People ask me how you're doing. I want to say amazing, but the truth is I don't know. What I usually end up saying is how... We don't talk, we don't talk about it. We don't talk about anything anymore."

Although the precise events between the two well-known sisters remain unknown,E! Newsstated that the "Material Girls" cast members have not been spotted together since 2019.

In an interview with CBS Mornings, Hilary spoke openly about the song, acknowledging that "We Don't Talk" is "definitely about my sister."

Talking to Anthony Mason, the former Disney employee described their difficult relationship as "the most lonely aspect of my life."

Hilary, whose last studio album was released in 2015, confessed that she initially hesitated to explore her family relationships in her music before eventually choosing to remain true to her "truth."
