In 1968, following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, Donald Trump was found to have bone spurs in his heels when he was 22, according to CNN. Prior to this diagnosis, Trump had successfully evaded the military draft on four occasions in order to keep pursuing his studies.
In a 2016 conversation with The Times, Trump mentioned that a physician provided him with a "very powerful letter" to submit to draft authorities. Nevertheless, during the interview, Trump was unable to recall the doctor's name.
Heel spurs result from calcium accumulation on the heel bone and can be addressed with stretching exercises, custom shoe inserts, or surgical procedures. The president stated that he has never had surgery to treat this issue.
Since beginning his second term, President Trump's health has been a subject of conversation. This summer, his administration revealed that the president was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition where veins in the arms or legs are injured, causing swelling, pulsing, and discomfort.
