Summerfest Ends: Rides, Music, and Memories Wrap Up in Newark

The intense summer heat in July couldn't keep families and friends away from the closing day of the Holy Family Church Summerfest 2025. With the five-day event wrapping up on July 13, groups of family members and friends assembled at the church premises to have a final enjoyable afternoon filled with attractions, performances, and communal activities.

Now entering its 21st year, Summerfest took place between July 9 and 13 at the premises of Holy Family Catholic Church, situated at 15 Gender Road in Newark. This yearly gathering included live performances every evening, numerous food stalls, and an energetic carnival area managed by Wade Shows Inc.

The festival offered free entry, but visitors could buy tickets to experience the attractions and activities. People of every age discovered entertainment options—ranging from exciting rides such as Alpine Bobs, Cliff Hanger, and Giant Bumper Cars to gentler choices like the Jumping Star, Construction Zone train, and traditional carousel.

Amidst the echoes of laughter and joyful shouts over the noise of amusement park attractions, the celebration concluded with happy faces, cherished moments, and the hope for another exciting event next summer.
