Kelly Clarkson Sues Over Las Vegas Show Cancellation

Kelly Clarkson is thankful for having such a moment.

One week following the sudden cancellation of her initial two performances during the Studio Sessions series at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the American Idol Alum issued an apology as she began the performance.

"It took me a moment. I'm truly sorry," he said. "It took me a bit. I apologize," she mentioned. "I needed a second. My apologies," they said. "It took me a little time. I'm sorry," he remarked. "I was delayed. I'm sorry for the inconvenience," she replied. Kelly Clarkson Show The host informed the audience on July 11 through a video posted online TikTok I'm aware some of you had tickets for the shows this past weekend. I'm truly sorry. Sometimes our bodies just don't cooperate. You understand, we get ill, and things like that happen.

But thanks for coming," she continued. "We're really thrilled. This is my favorite residency, my best performance yet, because I enjoy working in the studio.

The artist known for "Piece by Piece" introduced an additional element of joy during the performance, also sharing her disappointment over having to cancel the shows.

"I'm feeling relieved because I ended up having to cancel last weekend," Kelly, 43, said through Entertainment Weekly I wept. I felt terrible. It was awful. I'm really glad to be here.

Kelly—who shares kids River , 11, and Remington , 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock – announced just hours before her performance began on July 4 that she wouldn’t be appearing onstage due to a voice injury.

In a post on Instagram dated July 4th, she stated, 'The preparation and practice have affected my voice.' She added, 'I want the performances to be flawless for you all, and I must safeguard against causing significant harm, which is why I'm using this weekend and the following week to recuperate so we can provide something remarkable. The performance is genuinely outstanding.'

The performers and vocalists are exceptional, and I hope we all begin with great energy," she said. "I'm excited to return next week and reveal to you all what we've been preparing.

Before stepping onto the stage for her second performance in Sin City, Kelly shared her thoughts on the cozy atmosphere she's introducing during the 16-show series.
