Disabled Oasis Fan Lifted Above the Crowd at Gig

An injured Oasis enthusiast who was captured being hoisted into the sky during one of their highly anticipated hometown performances commended the band's "incredible" supporters for offering him an improved perspective of the stage.

Daniel Tester, who lives with cerebral palsy, was among 80,000 spectators attending an Oasis concert at Heaton Park in Manchester on Friday.

A 37-year-old woman from Lincolnshire had her sister, Jemma Tester, purchase tickets as a gesture of surprise, but she couldn't get entry into the fan zone designated for people with disabilities.

Daniel mentioned that he experienced the affection of his fellow Oasis supporters throughout the day when a group of men lifted him up so he could watch Noel and Liam Gallagher perform on stage.

"I don't believe that would have occurred at any other show besides Oasis," remarked Daniel, who is from Faldingworth.

Jemma mentioned it brought joy to "my brother's day, week, and year."

Daniel claimed he "wasn't aware" until the day of the concert that he would be watching Oasis.

A clip featuring Daniel, shared on his sibling's TikTok page, has become widely popular.

Jemma, an adult disability support worker, described the men who carried her brother over the crowd as "remarkable."

A 33-year-old woman, who mentioned that Daniel "had an incredible experience," also stated that she found herself crying when reflecting on everything that occurred.
