"‘Jaws’ Icon Withdraws from Fan Event Post-Hospitalization: 'I'm in Severe Pain'”

Jaws Actor Richard Dreyfuss left a fan gathering after being admitted to the hospital due to viral bronchitis. The 77-year-old shared an Instagram health report through SharkCon, the convention where he was scheduled to appear over the weekend. "Hi, fellow fans. I'm really, really sorry to inform you that I've been diagnosed with viral... viral... what is it?" Dreyfuss stated from his hospital bed, causing his wife Svetlana Erokhin to complete the medical term. "My doctors have informed me that I can't travel by air, and I'd need to fly for five hours to reach [SharkCon]. I feel awful because I had intended to attend and was excited about it," he continued, mentioning that he's experiencing significant discomfort. SharkCon occurred at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall located in East Lake-Orient Park, Florida. This happened amid Jaws , Steven Spielberg's legendary suspense film adapted from Peter Benchley's book with the same title celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
