Art, Music & Joy at the Hearst Center

The Hearst Sculpture Garden and Corning Patio were lively on Sunday afternoon at a complimentary public arts gathering.

Residents came by to purchase handcrafted artwork, listen to live performances by Nick Sorenson, and get tacos from the Taco Life Food Truck.

Households participated in engaging tasks such as blacksmithing, clay manipulation, chalk drawing, wooden disc painting, and small loom weaving.

This year’s new feature – an Art Supplies Exchange Event at Red House Studios allows people to contribute and collect lightly used creative materials.

Organizers claim it was a successful attendance and look forward to hosting it once more. Stay tuned for updates. Hearst’s social media for more events.
