**"2026 Subaru Uncharted Revealed Next Week!"**

In 2026, the Uncharted model will be added to the outdoor-focused brand's electric vehicle range alongside the Subaru Solterra and Trailseeker.

Subaru plans to unveil its upcoming electric vehicle on July 17 in New York.

Subaru is experiencing a surge in new model releases this year. In April, it introduced a considerably... refreshed Solterra with significantly greater range and a Tesla NACS charging connector. It also eliminated the Trailseeker a cart that closely resembles an electric Outback.

We have limited information about the 2026 Subaru Uncharted besides its name and insights from a distant teaser image. Additionally, Subaru refers to it as a "compact crossover SUV."

However, we can also take an informed approach here.

As a reminder, Subaru has partnered with Toyota for its first group of electric vehicles. The Solterra is related to the Toyota bZ4X The latest Trailseeker is a model branded under Subaru from its partnership. bZ Woodland wagon.

Toyota has just introduced the latest model C-HR a compact, agile electric SUV set to arrive in America later next year. Therefore, it's probable that the Uncharted will serve as Subaru's equivalent, offering an electric option similar to the brand's smaller Crosstrek model.

The preview image supports this claim. Amidst the cloud of dust rising from the back wheels of Uncharted, we can spot a clearly compressed, coupé-style shape. Additionally, the Uncharted seems to feature the same upward curve in the body near the bottom of the rear windows as seen on the C-HR.

The 2026 Toyota C-HR has a similar appearance to the 2026 Subaru Uncharted.

Incidentally, how did Subaru come up with all these cool-sounding names around here? I’d prefer an Uncharted or a Trailseeker over a C-HR or a bZ Woodland anytime. But maybe that’s just my personal taste.

We understand that the C-HR will feature the same 74.7 kWh battery as the updated Toyota bZ, providing an estimated driving range of 290 miles from Toyota. The C-HR is equipped with a dual-motor full-time all-wheel drive system, making it a good match for Subaru’s lineup (in theory, at least), and it generates around 338 horsepower. Should Subaru follow a comparable path, it might offer similar specifications.

We'll find out more next week when the 2026 Uncharted launches. One certainty remains: It's set to make it much simpler for Subaru enthusiasts to switch to electric vehicles.
