Hospital Worker from Scunthorpe Honored with Prestigious Award

A nursing healthcare support worker from Scunthorpe General Hospital has received a distinguished Chief Nursing Officer for England award in acknowledgment of her diligent efforts and commitment.

The accolade honours lasting compassion and acknowledges the crucial role played by healthcare support workers in England and their outstanding assistance to nursing practices. Clare Webster, employed in unit 23 at the medical facility, received her nomination from ex-deputy ward manager Jennifer Ese.

In March 2018, Clare came onboard at the ward as a patient care navigator. The citation for her nomination stated: "During her shifts, she provides great support and goes above and beyond by assisting the team in tasks such as offering daily personal care to patients, drawing blood samples, performing cannulations, and managing catheters."
