Big Crowd Flocks to Western Trust Health & Wellness Festival in Derry's Millennium Forum

Shona McEleney from the GP Social Work Assistant Team commented: "We are thrilled with how successful the health and well-being event was at the Millennium Forum. It offered numerous resources including informational sessions, guidance, and health screenings for all who attended."

It presented an excellent chance for individuals to engage with various organizations gathered together in a single location, featuring over 40 booths representing statutory bodies, communities, and volunteer groups. Additionally, nursing students from the University of Ulster offered complimentary health assessments.

Shona added: "A massive thanks to all those who have helped with the planning and execution of the Health and Wellbeing Event this year, particularly to the team at the Forum for hosting us in such an amazing location. We aim to build upon the success of this year’s event and carry it forward into the future."
