Generation Z Struggles to Recognize Classic Car Accessories

Recall adjusting the choke on your car's dashboard as you turned the key to start the engine and get it running (similar to my old classic MG Midget)?

Well, today's members of Generation Z won't have any idea what you're referring to.

A choke is the top retro car feature that Generation Z — individuals born between 1997 and 2012 — are unfamiliar with, according to a survey conducted by online car seller Cazoo, where 92 percent of participants mentioned it.

This is then followed by a T-bar (90 percent), manual antenna (72 percent), and car cigarette lighter (65 percent).

Charlie Harvey from Cazoo stated, "Vehicle design has undergone significant changes in the past two decades, and it's intriguing how swiftly understanding of outdated features has disappeared."
