KPOP Demon Hunters Shines at Annie Awards: Full Winners Revealed

"KPop Demon Hunters" topped the 53rd Annie Awards with 10 victories, earning awards for best feature, character animation, direction, and production design, along with other categories. The accolades, regarded as the pinnacle of recognition in animation, were handed out at UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Director Ugo Bienvenu's film "Arco" received the award for best independent feature, while Adult Swim's "Common Side Effects" and Netflix's "Love, Death + Robots" dominated the television categories with four and three victories respectively. "Common Side Effects" took home awards for best editorial, best writing, best mature TV/media, and best direction, while "Love, Death + Robots" earned accolades for best character design, best production design, and best storyboarding.

Juried honors were also given out, such as the Winsor McCay Award to Michaël Dudok de Wit, Christopher Miller, Phil Lord, and Chris Sanders, and the June Foray Award to Sandy Rabins. The Ub Iwerks Award for innovation impacting the animation field was awarded to Wacom, and the Special Achievement Award went to LightBox Expo. The ASIFA-Hollywood Merit Award was presented to Jeffrey New and Haley Mirren Douthit.

Every year, the Annie Awards recognize outstanding talent in animation, honoring both individual creators and the broader animation field for their remarkable accomplishments.
