Jay-Z Unveils New Site to Honor 30 Years of Music Legacy

Jay-Zintroduces a new website to mark three decades of musical achievements.
On Friday (February 20), Jay-Z unveiled a new website,JayZ30.com,To commemorate the 30th anniversary of both the release of his song "Dead Presidents," which was released on February 20, 1996, and his three-decade-long music career. On Roc Nation's Instagram account, visible below, images of Jay-Z — featuring the umlaut over the y (ΓΏ) — are displayed alongside the announcement that his song "Dead Presidents" is now available on digital streaming services for the first time ever.
A well-known song about making money, produced by Ski Beatz, includes a sample from Nas' track "The World Is Yours" on the Illmatic album, where he says, "I'm out for dead presidents to represent me." The single was released on its own through the former music company Roc-A-Fella Records, which Jay-Z started with Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke.
Furthermore, the track can be found forbuy on vinyl, CD, and cassetteon JayZ30.com. Interestingly, Hov restored the umlaut y to his name in all his music videos on his YouTube channel.
No information has been released regarding Jay-Z's plans to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his first solo album,Reasonable Doubt.He launched the project on June 25, 1996 through Roc-A-Fella Records.
The classic albumfeatures guest performances by The Notorious B.I.G., Foxy Brown, and Mary J. Blige, along with production by Ski Beatz, Knowbody, DJ Premier, Irv Gotti (listed as DJ Irv), DJ Clark Kent, and more. Some standout songs on the album are "Can't Knock the Hustle," "Ain't No N**ga," "Brooklyn's Finest," "Can I Live," and D'Evils.
