Illinois' Boswell, Stojakovic Remain in Question for Indiana Matchup

Illinois' men's basketball head coach Brad Underwood stated on Saturday morning that the guardKylan Boswell and forward Andrej Stojakovicare both last-minute choices for Sunday's game against the Indiana Hoosiers.
Kylan is training; we'll find out how that situation looks as we approach tomorrow at noon regarding his ability to play,Underwoodsaid on Saturday. "We definitely don't want to risk putting him on the field if he's not somewhat close to being healthy and at 100%. Andrej has been dealing with a high ankle sprain, significant pain, and soreness. So we'll have to wait and see what his condition is."
Stojakovicdid not participate in Tuesday's defeat against Wisconsin because of a severe ankle sprain he sustained during the game against Michigan State on February 7.
Boswellhas been unavailable since January 17 because of a fractured right hand.
The Illinois vs. IU HoosiersThe basketball match is set to begin at 1:00 PM ET/noon CT.

Underwood mentioned regarding Boswell and the factors that will decide whether he plays, stating, "Most of the pain is gone, and surgically, it's fixed and functioning well. It's mainly about the swelling, so we'll observe how he responds throughout the day today and what tomorrow brings. Obviously, if there's swelling, it restricts movement and limits his capabilities. It's his shooting hand. There's no point in putting him on the court if he won't be an asset."
In the initial 18 games of this season, Boswell scored an average of 14.3 points, grabbed 4.2 rebounds, and dished out 3.4 assists.
This season, Stojakovicis scoring 13.7 points on average, grabbing 4.6 rebounds, and dishing out 1.1 assists.
