How Hailee Steinfeld is Preparing for Josh Allen's Baby

Hailee Steinfeldis at the brink of becoming a mother.

The Sinners actress—who said she was expecting her first child with husband Josh Allenin December—shared a preview of how she is getting ready for the arrival of the couple's new baby.

This week, I was lounging on the couch in my living room, and the realization that our small family is about to expand really began to sink in," Hailee mentioned in the Feb. 20 edition of her Beau Society newsletter. "Of course, I haveallthe tasks on my list (which you know I'm fond of), and I've been occupied with research and the overall life rearrangement that comes with expecting a child.

That being said, the expectant mother is also engaging in inner work before her andthe Buffalo Bills quarterback’s baby is born.

But the most deep and stabilizing aspect of preparing for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet talks I have with myself almost every day," she explained. "At times, I find myself asking big, ambitious questions (what will I be like as a mother) or experiencing vivid daydreams about what our life will be like when the three of us are snuggled together in the nursery.

While listening, I've felt this strange, full-body consciousness that our world is about to grow in wonderful ways,The Edge of Seventeen A star was added. "We are about to meet someone we already love very much. I have tried hard to find words that can express this feeling, but I haven't found them yet. Perhaps that's the idea. For now, I am grateful to be becoming comfortable with this emotion."

Hailee and Josh, both aged 29,revealed that they are expectingin a tender December 12 social media update. Since then, the "Starving" chart-topper has been going through her "nesting period."

Unexpectedly, assembling the nursery has been a pleasure for me," she wrote. "I've debated over minor details more than I'm willing to admit (why does selecting a rocking chair feel so emotional?), but watching it gradually take shape has made our new life feel more real. Emphasis on 'gradually' taking shape—it's still very much a work in progress.

However, she has had the support of her village at every stage.

Between useful messages, voice recordings, and the occasional 'you'll appreciate this later' tips, I'm beginning to feel more ready for a new baby," she said. "Also, last weekend my mom hosted the most lovely baby shower at our house (more details coming next week in MORE BS), which enhanced the 'this is actually happening' sensation.
