Daily Looks: Week of February 20, 2026

Well, we experienced a cold period this week...cold for us, that is, so I tried to make the most of layering. Not like when I lived in Denver, but some layering is concealed.

My emails serve as a means to share enjoyable and uplifting content with you, drawn from all the websites I explore throughout the week. While you also receive my free eBook upon signing up, that's not the main highlight.

The highlight is receiving a daily boost of uplifting energy.

SATURDAY

We're heading to the Heard Museum for their Indigenous Hoop Dancing Event.

I believed the leather skirt my mom created was quite suitable, and I put on a denim shirt with a blue fuzzy top (fastened wrong to make it shorter), and then I added this scarf on top.worn the 4th way from this FB video).

This scarf is on salebecause the shop is closing down.

I decorated myself with my turquoise jewelry and my animal necklace, which once belonged to my aunt.

Brown equestrian boots completed the outfit.

SUNDAY

This is the sweater I was working on and mentioned in a recent email. It beganoff like this. It was excessively long in the body, and the sleeves and hood were too large (and yes, it’s my size).

So I removed the lengthy sections, made a cardigan from it, and discovered this orange trim to incorporate into it.

I also had a clip in my sewing supplies to keep it together in the center.

I put it over this white jumpsuit (worn all white night on our cruise), but I might cut up the jumpsuit. It's not my favorite.

Funny storyI put on the scarf after breakfast when Rob noticed the back seam tearing and revealing some, and I didn't want to change for church.

But I enjoy how the scarf brings more color to the outfit.

I added my favorite colorful booties and colorful accessories.

MONDAY

As usual... heading to Yogalates, so I'm putting on my leggings and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, then adding a stylish skirt and boots on top.

This time, the skirt is part of a set I wore in Puerto Rico as one of my evening outfits.

The sweatshirt features a new designbut the same crucial message:

Kindness is available at no cost...distribute it everywhere.

The leggingsare from a new company I'm testing, and the boots are from the 80s...I'm really happy I held onto them.

Halara provided me with a discount code,JODIE123,15% discount on any full-price item.

TUESDAY

The other product from Halara that I recorded wasthese jeans...except they are sweatpants. OMG...it's like being out in pajamas.

Again…use code JODIE123 for a discount.

I put on my hand-knitted striped sweater over my eShakti dress, which I transformed into a tunic through DIY. Today, I wore the tunic in reverse and folded it to make it a bit shorter.

See the videoof the origami initiative on FB.

And indeed, the socks once more. I only have a little more time before it becomes too warm, so I'm trying to make the most of them.

WEDNESDAY

Yep... it's the DIY comforter once more, but this time I added these camo "capris?"... I'm not sure what they're actually called.

They were once pants (worn on Thanksgivingand, surprisingly, the day before I used the comforter as a skirt), but I thought I would wear them more if they were shorter. When I cut them, I chose to keep the pocket longer. Perhaps a bit unusual, but it's also distinctive.

And to the comforter jacket, I added the fur collar thatRob wore recently. I simply secured it for the day.

I put on knee-high socks, boots (seen with bright pinkpreviously, and an orange sweater.

FRIDAY

I haven't worn this sleeveless velvet dress very often (although you observed it on its own with white cowboy boots).

But I wanted to put on my "new" sweater, and I thought they looked good together.

The sweater is the upper part of the jumpsuit I wore on Sunday. I flipped it inside out, removed the zipper, and added edging to the sides...I included the back view at the top.

I'll be using the pants for a different project.

Since it was cold today, I put a sheer top underneath the dress.seen in the lasa photo from our Alaska cruise) and knee-high socks with my boots.
