Audubon Zoo Named Among Nation's Best for 10th Straight Year

The public is now casting their votes for the USA Today's 10Best Reader's Choice Award, which aims to identify the country's best zoo.

For more than 100 years, the Audubon Zoo has been located in Uptown New Orleans, offering a space for education and admiration of wildlife.

The Audubon Zoo was listed as the eighth most visited zoo in the nation according to last year's ranking.

Every contestant for the award is recognized by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is chosen by a panel of experienced travel professionals and editors to participate in the competition.

Michael J. Sawaya, CEO of the Audubon Nature Institute, stated, "Being nominated for a decade is a genuine honor and a recognition of our team's commitment to ensuring our Zoo is among the top in the nation."

The voting process is now active, and everyone is welcome to cast one vote per day to demonstrate their support for Audubon Zoo.
