The official release dates for new projects will be revealed "very soon," Jenkins assured a large audience at the event, followed by an outlined schedule for several projects within "The Chosen" universe — an update that received enthusiastic cheers from fans.

ChosenCon is taking place today in Charlotte, North Carolina, and provides guests with opportunities to see exclusive previews, interact with cast members, and participate in engaging activities.

Jenkins hinted that some other projects are being worked on, but mentioned he couldn't provide any more information.

Jenkins verified that the initial six episodes of "The Chosen" Season 6 will be available only on Prime Video during the fall of 2026, with the final episode of the season set for a worldwide movie theater release in the spring of 2027.

"The final episode of Season 6 will essentially be an extended episode that will be released as a worldwide cinematic event," Jenkins stated.

For worried fans, he mentioned, "Season 6 is the most extensive season we've ever produced without any real competition, it's requiring the longest time to film, by far. The visual effects, particularly the translations, take at least two to three times longer than any previous season."

The entire season is expanded. And that just requires time. ... I simply ask for your ongoing understanding and patience. It will be worth it.

Also anticipated in 2026 is "The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls," which is expected to launch on Prime Video during the summer or fall.

After the announcement, fans cheered loudly when Jenkins revealed an unreleased trailer for "The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls" along with an exclusive scene from an episode in the new series that showcases Luke Dimyan — who portrays Judas Iscariot in "The Chosen" — having a sincere moment with Grylls during intense adventures.

After showing scenes from "The Chosen in the Wild," Jenkins also provided a preview of "The Chosen" Season 6, showcasing the scene where Jesus' followers learn of his arrest. The audience cheered enthusiastically after the clip was shown.

No official release date for "Joseph of Egypt" has been announced, but the filming has concluded and the series is currently in post-production.

We still have some work to do on it to make it great," Jenkins said. "But honestly, it's turning out beautifully. We're extremely proud of it.

"The link between the Old Testament and the New (Testament), including the tales of Joseph, his brothers, and Jacob, are crucial elements of 'The Chosen' world we're creating," he added.

Production for the seventh and last season of “The Chosen” will start in under two months, as the script and other elements are now in their final stages. A scheduled release date has not been revealed yet.

After finishing "The Chosen" Season 7, Jenkins and his crew will have a short pause before starting on other ventures within the "The Chosen" world, such as "Book of Moses," which recounts the tale of Moses, and "The Way of The Chosen," which delves into the Book of Acts.
