One Dead in Two-Car Crash in Lamoille County

US Route 15 near Johnson, Vermont, was shut down following a collision between two vehicles at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities concluded that a 2003 Toyota Sienna collided with the back end of a 2002 Ford pickup belonging to the town of Morristown, causing the Toyota's driver to become stuck inside the vehicle.
Subscribe to Our NewslettersThe individual driving the Toyota Sienna was declared deceased upon arrival. The person's name remains undisclosed for now.
Jordan Lehouillier, the operator of the Ford truck from Morrisville, emerged unharmed.
The Vermont State Police, Northern Emergency Medical Services, and the Johnson Fire Department all arrived at the scene of the accident.
The Lamoille County Sheriff's Office is requesting anyone who saw the accident to contact them at 802-888-3502.
