Young Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Woodbridge Street, Police Report

MANCHESTER — Police reported that a 21-year-old biker suffered serious injuries following an accident on Woodbridge Street on Sunday.

A two-car accident occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. close to the junction with East Middle Turnpike, as reported by Lieutenant Nick Reinert from the Manchester Police Department.

Reinert stated that authorities think a car heading east on Woodbridge Street, driven by a 69-year-old resident of Coventry, crashed into the motorcycle which was moving in the opposite direction.

Reinert mentioned that the biker, a 21-year-old from Manchester, suffered significant injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital, where his status was reported as critical.

No accusations have been made regarding the accident. Authorities are currently seeking to speak with eyewitnesses or individuals who may have relevant details about the incident as part of their continuing inquiry, Reinert stated.
