Subaru Unveils New EV on July 17
Subaru plans to introduce a new all-electric small SUV sometime next month.
Even though information about its outside, inside, and engine remains scarce for now, the vehicle is expected to compete with models like the Kia EV3 and Skoda Elroq once it becomes available next year.
The company has offered us only a single picture of the car, yet from afar, you can spot that the vehicle has a two-toned matching roof, a slanted rear section — to create a coupé-style look — and a central rear spoiler.

Additionally, there is trademark typography on the back gate, along with what appears to be concealed rear door handles, giving it a more athletic appearance.
Regarding the powertrain, Subaru has not provided any information so far, but it is expected that the vehicle will use the same platform as the new Toyota CH-R+. This will offer options between 58kWh and 77kWh battery units, with the larger one incorporating an all-wheel-drive dual-motor system.
This latest model will be positioned beneath the company's Solterra electric SUV, developed jointly with Toyota and their bZ4x.
Subaru is set to reveal its latest all-electric small SUV on July 17, with more information expected to follow in the coming days.
