Saga frontman Michael Sadler has provided a fresh health report following last weekend's statement about his cancer condition.

On Saturday, he mentioned, "I found out in April, right before going on a cruise, that my cancer cannot be cured or treated." In a recent message, he aimed to ease concerns from fans who were alarmed by the announcement, saying, "The operation I had effectively eliminated the cancer, and since there's no additional treatment or solution for me, my priority now is maintaining good health."

In his complete statement, Sadler says: "I would like to respond to recent media attention regarding my post from July 12th, where I discussed the death of my sister and the presence of cancer within my family."

For clarity, I am not presently "terminal" or "in transition." Misunderstandings of my message have led to worry from friends, for which I feel sincere remorse.

When discussing my personal diagnosis of this uncommon muscle-invasive cancer, which affects just 3-5% of patients, I was simply referring to my family's circumstances.

The operation I had effectively eliminated the cancer, and since there are no additional treatments or cures available for me, my priority is maintaining good health.

On the contrary, my brother's leukemia is controlled through a daily medication for the rest of his life.

Looking ahead, I'm dedicated to maintaining good health, minimizing pressure, and leading a meaningful life—creating music for as long as possible and valuing moments spent with loved ones.
