Makers Art Fair Returns on July 19

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia (WSAZ) - On Saturday, July 19, the temporary Makers Art Fair will present a Makers Art Fair Night Market organized by RenewAll Inc. along with Village Antiques & Art.
The event will take place at 610 W. 14th Street at Village Antiques & Art Outdoor Yard within the Central City Historic District.
Denise Poole, who serves as the Marketing Coordinator, mentioned that the event will take place between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., and it is available at no cost to everyone.
The gathering will include more than 20 visual artists, live performances, and regional cuisine, as stated by Poole.
Our yearly July Makers Art Fair Night Market provides a special opportunity to discover and engage with art within our neighborhood," Poole stated. "The warm-weather outdoor 'pop-up' open-space market evokes memories of past summers, featuring local live performances, artists selling their work, and regional cuisine.
Live performances feature groups such as Soliloquy, Karen Scalf, and Gaby Thomas, according to Poole.
The scheduled timings for the event are listed below, per Poole:
- Monologue: 4:15 PM to 6:30 PM
- Karen Scalf: from 6:45 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
- Gaby Thomas: from 7:30 PM until 8:30 PM
She mentioned that guests have the opportunity to sample homemade treats from Sweet Beechees Bakery along with a refreshing lemonade stand.
Art sellers including Kendall Hotmer, Sarah Toy, and Appalachian Feline will attend the gathering, according to Poole.
Further shopping will occur at Village Antiques & Art until 7 p.m., she mentioned.
