Julie then contacted the group via phone, instructing them to divide into two groups—one tasked with locating Julie and the other searching for the HOH relic. Lauren was assigned to the "Find Julie" team.

In these two contests, Zach met Julie and earned a $10,000 prize. Meanwhile, Jimmy managed to find the HOH token and received the award that allowed him to choose which four residents would participate in the initial HOH challenge. Lauren chose not to sign up for this competition, like several other contestants.

Jimmy, Adrian, Ashley, and Vince take part in the initial Head of Household challenge. This challenge involves playing "Destroy the Lair." Vince emerged as the winner of the first HOH of the season.

Following the initial HOH challenge and commemorating Vince's victory, the contestants return to the house and discover three thrilling surprises:

The BB Block Buster feature, wherein the new HOH nominates three houseguests rather than two. The three selected contestants participate in the BB Block Buster during eviction night, with one earning immunity and the remaining two facing immediate elimination.
Rachel Reilly is making a comeback! The Big Brother contestant and winner of Season 13 is returning to join the houseguests for this season.
The unexpected ally reveal where one of the fresh contestants is working with the mysterious leader. The participants must try to discover who this hidden helper is. Should the players not accurately spot the traitor, they will join the game as the 17th contestant. However, if a player manages to find the ally, that person might be sent home right away from the contest.
