IndyCar Heads to Music City This August

The final event of the INDYCAR Series is rapidly approaching, set to take place in Nashville this summer.

The Grand Prix of Nashville will take place at the Nashville Superspeedway over the final weekend of August—and ticket sales are moving quickly.

The INDYCAR event held on Sunday at Iowa Speedway featured a tight competition between champion Álex Palou and local hero Josef Newgarden from Hendersonville.

"I understood he would be quite difficult. We attempted to stop him, but we truly couldn't. He managed to pass... However, in the end, our strategic approach allowed us to come out victorious," explained Palou.

Palou, who leads the standings right now, mentioned he intends to reach Nashville beforehand to complete as many training laps as feasible at the Superspeedway before the final competition.

It's unique. We claimed victory in the tournament last year in Nashville, and it was really enjoyable. Hopefully, my luck will hold out so I can experience it once more this year.

The Nashville Grand Prix taking place at the Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon is scheduled for Saturday, August 31.
