Beyoncé might have strong representation in the nominees. Selena Gomez has a strong chance of being recognized for Outstanding Comedy Series for the fourth consecutive year as an executive producer of Murder Most Foul in the City The Secret of the Silent House Mystery at the Apartment Complex Crime in the Urban Jungle Silent Killers in the Suburbs Secrets Beneath the Rooftops When Darkness Falls in the City Whispers in the Attic Shadows Over the Neighborhood A Murderous Metropolis She might also be considered for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the second consecutive year.

Numerous other shows showcasing leading musical artists have a chance of being nominated across different categories. A Night Featuring Elton John and Brandi Carlile might be eligible for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) award. Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (Hulu) might receive a nomination for Outstanding Documentary Special.

The 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards will broadcast on September 14 starting at 8:00 PM/5:00 PM PT via CBS and will also be available live and on-demand through Paramount+. The event will take place at the Peacock Theater located in downtown Los Angeles and will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. Although Bargatze hasn't been nominated for a Primetime Emmy, he received a Grammy nomination in 2022 for Best Comedy Album for The Greatest Average American.

The event held in September will once again be organized by Jesse Collins Entertainment (Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay), marking their third straight year of involvement.
