Country Music Star Apologizes: 'I Feel Awful, I'm So Sorry'
Darius Rucker is offering supporters a reimbursement.
A country music artist expressed regret on social media for his voice failing him within a few songs during his performance in Atlantic City on Saturday evening.
"I feel terrible and I'm truly sorry—I've never gone silent throughout all the years I've been performing," Rucker shared on his Instagram story on Sunday.
We examined all possibilities for rescheduling, but regrettably, it isn't feasible this year, which means we're providing complete refunds. ... Many thanks for all the thoughtful messages expressing good wishes for me. I love you all and will see you soon!
Rucker, per PhillyBurbs apologized following his third performance.
Hey everyone, I can't sing anymore. I'll play one last song. I swear we'll fix this," he said. "…This didn't happen. Physically, I can't sing...I'll make it up to you.
Audience members were able to record the event and share it on social platforms.
Rucker's upcoming show is set for Saturday in Hollywood, Florida.
