Beyoncé Rides a Golden Stallion on Her Final "Cowboy Carter" Shows

Beyoncé has replaced the flying red Cadillac, which was a standout element of her Cowboy Carter tour through mid-June, with an animated golden horse.

The vehicle, positioned high above the stage, transported the superstar over the audience as she performed "16 Carriages," played a key role in the performance until a problem occurred during a show in Houston at the end of June. Midway through the song, it tipped over and became immobilized, with Beyoncé audible stating, 'stop stop stop.' As usual, the performer completed the act before expressing gratitude to her supporters, remarking, "If I ever stumble, I know you all will support me."

Only a few dates remain for the Cowboy Carter tour, and at the concert in Atlanta on Thursday, July 10th, Beyoncé was spotted riding a golden robot horse during "16 Carriages," which, as shown below, ascends gracefully over the audience.

Certainly, stadium performances often come with technical issues as part of the job. Everyone recalls U2's Lemon incident, where the band became stuck inside a 40-foot lemon prop due to a malfunction. Other notable instances similar to "Spinal Tap" moments in real life include The Rolling Stones' Bridges To Babylon stage setup, which originally lacked its bridge because it didn’t pass testing at the factory, and the occasion when Yes drummer Alan White got locked inside a large shell during their Tales From Topographic Oceans tour.

In contrast, Beyoncé seems to have faced comparatively little consequence.
