Initially owned by its first buyer in the early 1980s, this Mustang Zagato remained stored for more than ten years before undergoing restoration. While restoring the vehicle, the choice was initially made to paint it back to its original white color; however, this change was later undone during a repainting in 2019. By then, the car received certification from Zagato, enhancing its genuine credentials.

It has now been confirmed that the car will take part in the 2021 Mille Miglia. This significantly enhances its desirability, since being invited to compete means it qualifies for upcoming competitions. Above everything else, although the distinctive body style is unique, this vehicle still houses a V-8 Mustang engine.
