Personal Care Assistant (PCA) With Sign-On Bonus

A CCRES Personal Care Assistant (PCA) can have an impact daily.

This role involves being a field employee who works every day when students have classes, from either 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM for secondary schools or 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM for elementary schools, following the standard school schedule. The initial pay rate for this position is a substantial $22 an hour, which increases to $25.50 an hour.

PCAs offer individualized support to children and teens with emotional and behavioral issues within the school environment, tailored to meet each client's specific medical requirements.

CCRES Personal Care Assistants focus specifically on assisting children who have been mainly identified with Autism Spectrum Disorders along with various other special needs conditions.

The Personal Care Assistant will:

Offer individualized and small-group emotional assistance along with behavior management strategies for children and adolescents at school according to their specific health requirements.
Intervene promptly in regions concerning behavior management, conflict resolution, anger control, and social skills with peers as per the objectives outlined in an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or within a behavioral intervention strategy devised by a school authority orBehavior Consultant.
Gather daily information and record progress observations in a specified format for every meeting with the child/adolescent.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preference for experience working with children of school age

Staff on assignment for West Chester Area School District requires either a high school diploma plus completion of a local assessment test, or an additional two years of post-secondary education (at least 48 college credit hours).

Behavior Consultant

The BC-ABA acts as an independent contractor and is part of an interdisciplinary clinical team operating within Montgomery County .

The hourly wage is $60 per hour.

The Behavior Consultant will:

Develop and oversee personalized therapy programs for kids who have been identified as having behavioral or mental health issues.
Help cultivate adaptive abilities in the identified child so they can play a more constructive part within their school, household, and community environments.
Offer professional behavioral guidance to the family and/or school as recommended.
Instruct the Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on suitable therapeutic techniques.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
Typically, cases are approved for about 2 to 3 hours per week for each client's family, depending on medical necessity, and this allows them to manage several clients simultaneously.

Requirements for this role encompass:

A Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) or a similar field along with a Pennsylvania license for either of these roles: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
A minimum of 12 credits in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) coursework from an accredited college or university, along with either one year of full-time experience delivering ABA services, or one year of full-time supervised ABA work under the guidance of a Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent certification, plus completion of 40 hours of instruction in ABA methodologies.

Behavior Analyst

The BCBA acts as an independent contractor and serves as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team based in Chester County.
